is an interactive corset controlled by Arduino, helping the user to breath with your diaphragm.

RUAH is helping the user to become conscious of his body’s movement. Using the diaphragmatic breath, an e-textile stretch sensor catches the movement of the user belly sending a feedback to a muscle wire -flexinol spring- for inflating and deforming the structure of the corset.
The dress is an immediate interface environment and space that surrounds us, capable of transmitting and receiving constantly emotional experiences.
A slow and controlled breath helps to balance the body and the mind, increasing sensory abilities and physical endurance, a simple and spontaneous practice which is acquired only after a long workout. The corset is responding to the user emotions acting as a second interactive skin.
Body as an object and dress as a second skin.
